Canada, with its capital Ottawa, is located in the northern part of North America. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean in the east, the Pacific Ocean in the west, the State of Alaska of the United States in the northwest, the mainland of the United States in the south and the Arctic Ocean in the north.

Canada is one of the most developed economies in the world and one of the seven major industrialized countries in the West. The manufacturing industry, high-tech industry and service industry are well-developed. The resource industry, primary manufacturing and agriculture are the main pillars of the national economy. It has a high dependence on foreign trade and is deeply influenced by the United States economically.
